The standard brakes are more than enough for the extra engine power, how ever i have uprated the front with drilled/groved disks and greenstuff pads all round, Once the supercharger is fitted i will fit 300mm front disks and calipers some thing like these
Thanks MGSTU for the pix, im jealous now.
My choice of wheels was quite easy as i wished to gain grip and feel without to much road noise, so 45 profile was found best. A 40 profile would gain on grip but i feel your possibly going to have a tigher car but it could be inclined to hop on a bumpy corner. Anther consideration here is in the future you could wish to upgrade your front brakes so consider the max disc size your wheel will allow. With a 45 profile tyre it was clear i had to have a 16" wheel so as the rolling radias stayes the same as standard to allow the speedometer to give the correct reading. Take a carefull look at the offset, if your not sure get advice. Finaly Tyres, if you are driving any car that has been tuned or uprated in any way your wasting your time if you use cheep tyres, ask around read reviews and take advice, it is a ballance of cost against grip. One bad choice in tyres could totally ruin all the hard work you have done on your suspension and brakes,
