Fitting the 24v Cosworth "BOA" engine into a 2.9 XR4X4

What do i need?

To complete the conversion, here is the full list of parts you will need:

• The engine (preferably from a low mileage face lift Granada Scorpio type BOA)

• The engine loom, full engine bay loom and all sensors

• The EECIV “brain”

• The EDIS 6 coil pack and control box

• Vacuum pipes including air valve

• Both down pipes including the Lambda sensors

• Alternator and Polly vee belt

• Power steering pump and Reservoir (don’t forget the fixing bracket)

• 24V Cosworth rev-counter

• A 2.8 or 2.9flywheel and starter,(see "flywheel and clutch")

• Spare 4X4 sump

• Cosworth clutch (see "flywheel and clutch)

Upto now people have worried about the cam cover gasgets as ford only sold them with a new cam cover, but these are now available from XR4i Spares Centre.
